The process to place a Sr Pastor for New Life Fellowship started well over 2 years ago. The Pastor Search Committee was formed 1 year ago.
 
Since November 2021, we have met over 25 times, reviewed 27 resumes. We sought additional information from 5 of those candidates and conducted interviews with 2 of those men. Diligently seeking God’s will to place the right man…in His perfect timing.
 
The PSC is now excited to announce that we have presented the NLF Elder board a candidate for the position of Sr Pastor!!
 
We appreciate all the prayer and encouragement along the way, we certainly needed it.
 
Please now pray for the Elder board, the new candidate and unity within the NLF body as process to affirm our new candidate continues.

​The PSC conducted the third interview of a candidate on 9/26. The PSC has unanimously agreed to move this candidate to a fourth interview. That interview is scheduled for 10/3.

The PSC conducted the second interview of a candidate last night (9/19). The PSC has unanimously agreed to move this candidate to a third interview. That interview is scheduled for 9/26.

​The candidate being considered in August has chosen to withdraw his name from consideration and remain in the area he and his family currently live.
 
The PSC is preparing for a second interview of a previous candidate on 9/19.
 
As Bob’s last month is now here. Please pray for patience. Pray also for guidance and discernment. The PSC wants to place the right man in the position. That will take some time. 

The PSC interviewed and researched a candidate at length during the month of July. It was determined after much prayer, that candidate was not the right fit for our position.
 
We are currently checking references on a new candidate. We expect to have our first in-person interview with this man before the end of August.
 
We are excited to see this process unfold and meet so many godly men and their families along the way.

​Since receiving the first set of candidate resume’s in late March, the PSC has reviewed roughly 18 candidates. During the review process, 3 men were selected to be considered further, never pursuing more than one candidate at a time. Each time, God has closed the door on that selection as those men had accepted positions at other churches.
 
Currently we have 2 potential candidates and will be requesting additional information from each.
 
We are aware that the process appears to be moving slow, but as a group, the PSC will not rush to a selection until God clearly opens the door to the right man. We trust that He will and hope you will be praying alongside us for discernment and His will to be carried out at New Life Fellowship. We carry on in faith, knowing God has His man set aside for New Life Fellowship.

​The NLF Pastor Search Committee met on June 6th to review a new round of candidate resumes. 7 men were reviewed.
 
As we receive candidate information we have found that, at times, it can be outdated and the candidate may have accepted a position at another church. The PSC has decided to reach out to one of those candidates to find out his current employment status.
 
Please be praying for each and every candidate that passes thru the NLF PSC. Each of these men are seeking to serve God and we want to honor that, even if it is not at NLF of Graham. Please also continue to pray for the Leadership and PSC as we work thru each name, discerning God’s will.

​The NLF Pastor Search Committee (PSC) has reviewed 9 candidates as of late May. As Terry announced mid-May, we had a telephone interview with one candidate and researched the references he had provided. That candidate has since accepted a position at another church and withdrawn his name from consideration.

The PSC will continue to review additional candidate resumes from Church Venture NW or other sources beginning at our next meeting, June 6th.

Please continue to JOYFULLY pray for this search process. It is a privilege to serve Him and it is all in God’s hands!

​The Pastor Search Committee met on April 18th. The PSC has now reviewed 6 candidate resumes.
 
Thru Church Venture, we have requested additional information on one candidate and are likely to receive 2 additional candidate resumes this week.
 
The process of identifying the next Senior Pastor for New Life Fellowship is a difficult one but with God’s leading we are confident we will find the right man.
 
Please continue to pray as a body for the NLF leadership, the PSC and all the potential candidates as we make our way thru the search process.

The Pastor Search Committee met on April 4th . During that meeting we met with Luke from Church Venture NW and reviewed 3 Senior Pastor candidate resumes.

​The initial review of those three candidates is complete. We expect one, and possibly two, additional candidate resumes prior to our next PSC meeting on April 18th.
 
We have not narrowed our search to any single candidate at this time.
