Church Projects Status Update
Purpose: Thank God, we have been blessed with the ability and budget to complete a lot of work in the last few years to the physical building. Most of that is now wrapped up. The Deacon board prefers to plan for upgrades and maintenance well in advance. If you see something that’s needing repair, please let us know.

Projects
1. Parking Lot. Deacons are aware that the parking lot can get full at times and are working to use the space we have more efficiently. We hope to create some parking lot spaces with paint or curbing this spring. We will also add some additional handicap spaces. In the interim, we plan to open the east gate on Sunday mornings to provide better flow and a second access point.
2. Budgets: Deacons will begin to discuss the 2026-2027 budget in February. Ministry heads please be praying about next year’s budget!
3. On-line giving: The platform we used to provide on-line giving services has changed. If you are frequent on-line giver, you will likely need to resubmit your information since this is an entirely new platform. Appreciate your patience, this change was made to reduce the fees that NLF pays to process those on-line donations. See Sandy or Jason with questions
4. Portables: We are looking into the possibility of adding another portable behind the existing portable. This would be used as additional class space and meeting area.
5.Year 2026: We are starting to look at the upcoming three-year period to see what the vision is for NLF and what may be needed in the future. Deacons will be working in conjunction with the Elders.
